Andre Pichen is a sonic artist who composes visual music mainly for stage plays. He also runs a solo project, Hypnobooster. Andre’s music has strong visual layers, combining nuances of film noir, trip hop, horror themes, and fantasy.

A staple in the Estonian music scene since 1998, Andres Lõo creates musical short stories that blend avantgarde(ish) ambient, fusion rock, and the drama of electronic pop painted with lush vocals. Some of these musical pieces are petrified dreams or contemporary fairytales, others feature a more down-to-earth feel, with dramatic singing on top.

Actor and composer Ardo Ran Varres has composed music for more than 20 stage plays, several films, television programs, and radio plays. As a stage actor, he has 30 roles under the belt, and has also delighted audiences in Finland, Denmark, and Germany.

Argo Vals is a diverse composer-guitarist, live-electronics musician and songwriter, who has been recording music mainly by himself (DIY) since 2006. He plays in several bands and different genres. Argo also writes music for movies, TV shows and dance performances.

Arian Levin writes music for moving pictures. His work is a creative hybrid, combining traditional songwriting with electronic sounds.

Candy Empire
Supposedly founded in 2012, Candy Empire doesn’t really belong to this day and age. They operate elsewhere, not bothering with time or place. Should you come across them, you’ll recognize 1950s America, dusty cult movies, crack-and-cigarette-soaked watering holes, and the first love of an aging Cuban jazz pianist.

Erkki Tero
Erkki Tero has been active in the Estonian underground scene since 1990 – he has been leading the noise band ÖÄK and the Academy of Art's significant music-kettle Heven.

Malle Maltis
Malle Maltis is a graduate of the Tallinn School of Music, specializing in block flute and oboe, followed by a degree in composition from the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre. She has further honed her composition and music technology prowess in the Netherlands, Italy, Finland, and Spain.

Robert Jürjendal

Robert Jürjendal has studied classical guitar and composition at G. Ots Tallinn Music School. In 1993-1997 he participated in various Robert Fripp Guitar Craft courses as well as toured with The Berlin Guitar Ensemble. Beside the solo and guitar ensemble repertoire, Jürjendal has written music for male choir and electric guitars, cembalo duo, string quartet, recorder trio. His composition style is influenced by minimalism, classical, folk, rock, jazz,church and modern popular music.

Sander Saarmets is an Estonian composer and electronic musician. His debut album "Naterijeka" was released in 2005 by Ulmeplaadid, a small but influential Estonian record label. Sander has studied electronic music and composition at the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre.

Talbot, the duo of doom. Hailing from Tallinn, the duo has been conquering the world since 2008. With Magnus Andre (bass guitar, synths, and vocals) and Jarmo Nuutre (drums, vocals) both twiddling with some other lovely gadgets, Talbot has created a unique sound of their own - massive, atmospheric and noisy, with a nice amount of psychedelia on top of it.

Timo Steiner’s music radiates playful stylistic contrasts, variant development and a mosaic-like or block-based structure. It pulsates with dreamy postminimalism: poetic and naive, containing dramatic and grotesque imagery, gracious beats, playful fragmentation, extravagant and humorous timbral colours.

Tõnis Leemets
Tõnis Leemets (1972) has studied jazz guitar, electronic music and composition in Tallinn, played the guitar for 20 years (in Weekend Guitar Trio etc), hosted radio shows, produced jingles, commercials and remixes and composed music for films, theatre plays and radio drama. He often performs his music for theatre live on stage and has taken up (voice) acting as well.

UMA

UMA
UMA is a common project of two Estonian musicians – guitarist Robert Jürjendal and trumpet/corno da caccia player Aleksei Saks – who came together in the beginning of 2007. The name UMA comes from the South Estonian Setu dialect and means "own".

Ülo Krigul

Ülo Krigul’s style includes influences from jazz, post-minimalism and sonoristics. The imagery of his music is rich in playful contrasts.

Wolfredt
Wolfredt is a cover for Margus Voolpriit, who is known as the drummer in some eminent Estonian indie combos (Dreamphish; Pia Fraus) throughout the nineties and the young new millennium. These days, however, he has traded drums and kits for guitars and electronic gadgetry.

Wrupk Urei started out as a trio in 2004 and inhabited endless monotonous riffs and echoes. Our music was maniacal and was probably meant to turn our conscience into a blurry haze.
